Policy Based Remote Access automatically interface users with remote devices based on more than a dozen monitored metrics. This allows you to control remote access through both pre-configured and custom policies. Best practice remote access is discovered through normal use of the simple remote management infrastructure (SRMI) hardware technologies and software you already use. Access and routing are based on the convergence of availability and preferences so your customers never need to consider the underlying infrastructure, platforms or worry about which interface to launch. Server farms and data center administrators determine corporate wide access policy rules and customize integration with other Data Center Automation (DCA) tools. User access is automatically driven by event routing engines that track variables traditionally hidden from operators.
